Three Rivers College
Athletic Hall of Fame - Class of 2026
Danny Jake Baehr
Cheer (2003-13)
Jake Baehr was a fan favorite and personified Rocky Raider for 10 years, wrapping up his career in 2013 on the “Decade of Dominance Tour” donned as “The Most Winningest Mascot in Juco History,” given his longevity as Rocky Raider under Coach Gene Bess.
He also spent a season in Springfield as Louie the Redbird for the Springfield Cardinals in 2008, while continuing to be Rocky Raider and finishing his degree at Hannibal-Lagrange University.
Baehr helped train future mascots from 2007-10 while working for the Universal Cheerleading Association, representing Three Rivers College. He traveled and taught within the Southwest and Midwest divisions at Texas A&M University, University of Arkansas, and many other Division I institutions. Baehr also competed and placed in many UCA National Mascot championships.
When his time as Rocky came to an end, Baehr served as a Three Rivers Public Safety Officer from 2012-15, and could often be seen watching games from the sidelines in this new uniform cheering on the Raiders!
